About Me

Education

M.Eng Aerospace Engineering Cornell University | 2024

B.S Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Cornell University | 2023

Previous Position

Associate Engineer, Post Grad Booster Propulsion Team SpaceX  June 2023 - Aug 2023

Hi my name is Hunter Kahn. I graduated from Cornell University in May of 2023 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and continued on to receiving my M.Eng in Aerospace Engineering the following year.

With over three years of engineering experience, I have contributed to flight proven hardware, including work on the third orbital flight test of SpaceX's Starship. I thrive in fast-paced environments and embrace challenging projects. Along with strong interpersonal skills, I am adept with standard industry tools such as NX (CAD), ANSYS (CFD & FEA), MatLab & SimuLink and the Microsoft Office Suite.

I am extremely motivated by the growing space economy and all the engineering challenges that come with it. From reusable rockets to "ride share" spacecraft, engineers in the industry continually defy expectations and allow the stuff I thought was so cool in sci-fi to become reality. I look forward to contributing.
