I discovered MOND while doing research on what topic this project should be on and decided to explore it. MOdified Newtonian Dynamics or MOND, is an alternative theory to how gravity works when its effect is minuscule. In our solar system this can only happen in small volumes of space where the gravity of the sun gets effectively cancelled out by a planet. For this project I downloaded the location of bodies in the solar system over the period of a decade and used the data to calculate the size and position of the Jovian MOND bubble. Then I devised a preliminary proposal for a spacecraft mission to the MOND bubble using the results.
